Pen-Y-Bont
was originally conceived as an entry into RMWeb model rail forum “2007 Layout
Challenge” competition. The rules of this competition limited the size of the
entry to six square feet. I
also wanted to build a small portable layout that could be easily erected by
one man in a short time and be easily transported in a normal family car. The
layout when fully erected and ready for operation is 10ft 6ins long and 2ft
wide. The
layout has been booked for it’s first public exhibition at the
Kernow YMR Forum
exhibition on 4th 5th
