This site is about what I find interesting about British Railways and
railway modelling. As you can see from my Cambrian Coast Express headboard crest, my main
interest lies on the Cambrian lines. My layouts are generally set in the time period between 1956 and 1964, as this is the
period I remember from my childhood. All of my modelling on these pages is of standard gauge prototypes. I
model in 4mm scale, in 16.5mm gauge
('OO') to fine scale standards. You will find also in the steam galleries section a selection of my
photographs of steam prototypes and stock. I have also provided some useful data sheets for down load for railway modellers, as well as some
useful web links for both model and prototype. If you have any queries or
